MATERIAL PREVIEW

Material Preview, that took place in Florence on Wednesday January 13, 20010, reported a strong increase in attendance. More than 500 visitors (35 % more than last fair). Stylists, tanners, footwear manufacturers, leather goods manufacturers and international brand researchers have crowded the room, where chemical and leather tanning companies have presented high-quality leather samples, the latest trends for summer 2011.

Visitors have stopped for a while to choose and sort out leather samples with high stylistic content and result of advanced technology. Attilio Gronchi, President of tanners’ association of  Ponte a Egola, the footwear stylist Gianni Barbato, Teresa Favi and Aldo Premoli, trends researcher.

Material Preview proved to be an irreplaceable event as for ideas and strong incentives proposed to the entire leather sector. The next meeting will be on June 17, 2010 and it will be focused on autumn-winter 2011/2012 trends.
